We recommend flying into Laguardia, as it is the closest airport to Manhattan.

Unfortunately, because it's NYC marathon weekend, hotels are quite expensive.

Hyatt Place Flushing/LaGuardia Airport (near the airport, will have a block of rooms reserved for $199/night)
