Before we even knew each other’s names, we were facing off on the basketball court in sixth grade. From there, we made our way through middle and high school together, taking school trips to Gettysburg and Washington, D.C., joining ski club, and even going to two proms together.

On December 26, 2011, Chris asked me to be his girlfriend and we’ve been making memories ever since. Over these 13 years, we’ve shared endless adventures, grown alongside each other, and created a life filled with love and laughter.

Chris proposed on what I like to call one of the best weekends ever! We took a trip to New Hampshire to see Chris Stapleton, who will always be one of our favorite artists. When we got home, we set out on a hike to set Chris’s trail cameras with our dog, Russell. While setting up the camera, Chris asked me to “test it out” by walking down the hill, and when I turned around, there he was with the ring. It was the most special moment, just the three of us, filled with love and pure joy. Afterward, Chris surprised me with breakfast where our friends were waiting, a fun day on the boat, and dinner at our favorite restaurant. It couldn’t have been more perfect.

These days, you’ll usually find us adventuring outdoors, spending time with friends, hanging out with Russell, or trying the newest restaurant in town.

We are beyond excited to take this next step and celebrate our wedding day surrounded by the people who mean the most to us. Thank you for being part of our journey!
