Sean and Casey both grew up in Hingham. With years in age between the two of them they never actually met around town. In October of 2021 in one of Sean’s favorite Hingham establishments, The Liberty Grill, they were finally introduced by mutual friends. After instantly hitting it off and a few dates they knew their paths were meant to cross and the rest is history.

On Casey’s birthday Sean surprised her with a night away to Nantucket Island (3 weeks after having a baby so parents first night out- wahoo!). After arriving on the island and checking into the hotel they walked to Jetty’s Beach. Sean wanted to check on the empty beach which Casey thought was a bit odd since there was a bar right near the beach which is typically the direction he’d prefer but she didn’t ask any questions. Once they got to the water’s edge Sean got down on one knee and asked the question that Casey has known the answer to for a long long time!

We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with our family and friends!
