Grove and I met, like many modern couples do, on Tinder. It was the end of 2020 when we matched and went on our first date at Mazevo. When I sat down the conversation and coffee flowed for hours. He later told me he was convinced he would be catfished that day and was relieved when I turned out to be real.

Due to the pandemic, coffee shop dates turned into spending our time at his apartment studying and playing videos games, which led to us spending more time together than apart.

We started dating on 11/11/2020, over a homemade bowl of chicken alfredo and some cheap white wine.

In February of 2021 we decided to trial run staying together for more than a few days at a time. I packed a bag and was determined to stay with him for a week. However, when a winter storm hit, that week turned into three weeks. By the time the storm ended it felt more odd to live apart than it did to be together.

Shortly after, Grove decided to join the National Guard and we signed our first lease together. Grove was only in the new apartment for a month before he left for basic training. It was during this time that we realized that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together.

When Grove returned home from basic, we quickly adopted our first cat, Mr. Man. Since adopting Mr. Man he has gotten two brothers, Gio and Knight.

In February of 2023 we decided it was time to officially get engaged and the wedding planning began. In the summer of 2023 we unexpectedly had to find a new home, however with some help from family we were able to buy our first condo!

We are excited to have you with us as we begin the next chapter of our relationship and take this step forward into marriage.
