Q + A

Are we allowed to take pictures?

We kindly request that you join us for an unplugged ceremony. We’ve hired a professional photographer to capture every moment, so we ask that you please turn off your phones and cameras during the ceremony. We want you to be fully present with us and enjoy this special moment together. Therefore phones are strictly forbidden for the ceremony and the Photographer will shove your phone away if it is in the way of her capturing the moment.

What is the color scheme?

Our wedding colors are teal, navy, brown and wood. Nice rustic, neutral colours are recommended. Please refrain from wearing bright colors and we kindly ask that guests avoid wearing any type of white to the wedding. This colour is reserved for the bride, and we want to ensure she stands out on her special day. The Maid of honour has been instructed to spill wine on anyone who disobeys this rule.

Whats the dress Code?

While stilettos can be a stylish choice for many occasions, we kindly ask that you refrain from wearing them to the wedding. The ceremony and reception will be held on grass and uneven surfaces, where stilettos can be challenging to walk in and might sink into the ground. We want everyone to feel comfortable and enjoy the celebration, so we recommend opting for shoes with a wider heel or flat shoes that will allow you to move around with ease and grace. We kindly ask that guests refrain from wearing shorts to the wedding. The event is a semi formal occasion, and we would appreciate it if everyone dressed accordingly to help create a beautiful and respectful atmosphere. Long pants, denims ,dresses, or other appropriate attire will help maintain the elegance of the celebration. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Are Children Allowed?

For personal reasons and in order to create a more intimate and peaceful atmosphere, we have chosen to make our wedding a child-free event. We kindly request that you make arrangements for your little ones, as we hope to celebrate with you without any distractions.

What's the best way to RSVP?

What date should i RSVP by?

Please note that RSVPs must be submitted by February 27th 2025 to ensure we have accurate numbers for planning. We kindly ask that you respond by this date. Can I post wedding photos on social media?

We kindly request that guests refrain from posting photos on social media before the bride and groom have had a chance to share their own pictures. This will allow them to enjoy their special moments and make the announcement in their own time. Then when you post you can Tag us on our hashtag #OurChapmanWedding25. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
