In 2021 I took a job at Southland Christian Church with our student ministry team where Brandon was volunteering as a small group leader. It would be a few years until we ever went on a date but our favorite thing about our relationship continues to be serving together and getting to point students closer to Jesus alongside each other!

After a few years (and a few attempts from Brandon) we went on our first date! We went for a hike at Ravens Run and got lost about 10 minutes into our hike! That obviously didn't effect us much because we ended up on many more hikes, bowling and pickleball dates afterward ◡̈ P.S. Taking pictures together is not a strength of ours, so here's our first official photo together taken 2 months after we started dating!

Got to celebrate 6 months of dating at the happiest place on earth! Not sure if anything beats fireworks at Disney and saying "I love you" for the first time!

Engaged!! It's not everyday a Hurricane comes to Kentucky, but on this day it did. Because of this, Brandon had to scratch his original plan and somehow convince me to go on a hike in the rain at Red River Gorge. He proposed, I said yes and we celebrated with our family and friends afterwards! (and Theo of course). We can't wait for all that is to come next!
