Our Wedding

Our story begins in 2017, where I was working at the infamous Skooters Grill in the small town of Madisonville, La. Tanner would always come in to hang out with his friends that worked with me. Soon after many trips to the spot, I got a phone call from Tanner, asking if I wanted to catch a movie. That's where it all began... Throughout our relationship we were inseparable as our relationship grew stronger. In 2018, Tanner made the decision to enlist in the U.S. Marines. He was now over 1,000 miles away. The 5 minute drive turned into a 13 hour road trip. Despite the obstacles, we would facetime constantly and I would go visit him more times than I can count. Those 5 years were the hardest that anyone could ever imagine. In 2023, Tanner was finally home, and he had proposed to me in the same small town where we had met over 6 years ago. We were discussing which houses were the prettiest on the river (he knows I'm always right) and right then, he was on his knee and asked me to be his wife. As we prepare to tie the knot, we remind ourselves how grateful we are to be able to support each other, and be able to have unlimited trust when we were so far apart. We cannot wait for our next chapter to start. Finally, we are grateful we are able receive support from both of our families.
