Casie's Version:

In 2020 I started chiropractic school at Parker University in Dallas. This is where I met some of my closest friends, including Hunter. Through the duration of school my friends became like a second family to me. They were there for every high and low of school both personally and professionally. It wasn't until I was moved up to Arkansas and on a vacation with my mom, brother and matron of honor Danielle, that my mom sat me down and told me something that I will never forget. She said "Casie, your dad and I had the very same foundation that I see you and Hunter have. At the end of the day, you must be each others best friend, this is the foundation and as long as you have that, you will make it through anything. You need to just sit him down and see how he feels. If he feels the same great and if he doesn't then you can get on with it. So when I returned from that vacation at the airport there Hunter was waiting in the pick up area with a dozen roses and the question "would you mind if we talked about something?". From there the rest was really history, per usual mom was not wrong in saying that every day is a gift when you get to spend it with your best friend. I can't wait for that to be our foundation for the rest of our lives.

Hunter's Version:

I met Casie in chiropractic school and I can admit she is definitely a big part of me graduating. Our relationship started studying for tests, board exams, and learning even more at continuing education on the weekends. I couldn't ask for a better friend, but ultimately a person that just makes me better. After chiropractic school I moved back home and Casie joined because we both got a great opportunity to practice the way we wanted and work with athletes. In the time leading up to clinic opening is where our friendship really started to evolve into something more as I felt myself only wanting to be around her. I really knew it was more than a friendship when I was in charge of dog sitting Max, because if you know Casie that is a big deal. So like any romantic movie one needs a big gesture to break the ice and tell someone how they feel. I picked up red roses on my way to pick her up from the air port. I'm so lucky to be able to spend every day with my best friend and now I can't wait to do it the rest of my life with her as my wife.
