January 12, 2024A time of unexpected turn of events lead two college students to find not only friendship but a partnership of the heart. They Started the cold winter day celebrating their eighth anniversary around the sun reminiscing the years Austin and Cassandra ventured together as if it was just yesterday.As Cassandra Arose for the morning, she was greeted with a bouquet of roses and a hot breakfast made from Austin. Little did she know something bigger was waiting for her. questioning what to do for the day they decided to go on a shopping spree to the mall. As Dusk Fastly approached, Austin led the way to an intimate Sit-down restaurant as they rarely eat out. With full bellies and satisfied purchases Cassandra was awaiting a relaxing evening in the comfort of their home awaiting their cats.Yet she found herself literally going down memory lane. Austin's First stop was at the coliseum where they first met during college orientation week. The day he says Cassandra caught his eye, but she was only focused on getting to know potential friends she will meet. Next, they were at Kerr Hall &amp; Maple Hall the dormitories where many days hanging out with friends at the cafeteria, common areas, game &amp; movie nights getting to know the now lifelong friends they share. Further on Austin made a stop at their first apartment where they shared with four other friends for the following two years. Austins final stop was at the Campus Theater Denton. It was a Gloomy Friday October 30, 2016, there was a showing of a local Addams Family Production. The play came to a closing, but rain was upon Cassandra and Austin, so they took shelter underneath a terrace. In that moment, as he listened to her speak about her favorite moments from the play, he gazed upon her knowing in his heart that she will be the one.As the Anniversary came to a close, while Cassandra stood before him in the dark winter night. He dropped down on one knee in front of the theater and asked with tears in his eyes the long-waited question "I Can't imagine my life without you, will you be my wife?"With tearful eyes Cassandra said," are you sure?" then proceeds to say yes after Austin proclaimed his love for the years they have shared together. Ending the night embracing each other with a warm hug and emotional tears ready to share the excitement with loved ones.
