It was 2012 when Alec and Cassandra's love story first began, just two twenty-year-olds enjoying an evening at Country USA in Oshkosh, WI. While Keith Urban sang "Somebody Like You", Alec spotted Cassandra and couldn't resist the urge to ask her to dance. It wasn't long before they were both smitten.

A few weeks later and many group hangouts, Alec finally had the courage to ask Cassandra on a proper date. He borrowed his dad's truck, filled it with pillows, blankets, and pre-popped popcorn and took her to the drive-in in Freedom, WI. He wrote her a poem and stole her heart.

Two houses, three apartments, three states and 9 years later, their love has taken them on quite the adventure.

In March, Alec took Cassandra to Las Vegas under the guise of March Madness. After a lot of persuasion, Alec convinced Cassandra to risk her life and go skydiving in the desert. With a rush of adrenaline, Alec found Cassandra on the ground, got down on one knee and asked her to make him the happiest man alive. She gleefully squeaked out a "YES"!

They cannot wait to start the next chapter of their lives and begin their happily ever after!
