With Jake's love of Grand Rapids, it's no surprise that this is the place where we first met. Junior year of highschool to be exact. We have both grown up in our town together and graduated high school with one another in 2013.

Our first date, again no surprise, was to a Gopher hockey game on February 8th 2012. Fast forward to college, Jake was now playing hockey for the Gophers and completed his degree at the U of M while I completed mine at the University of Minnesota-Duluth.

Post college, I now work remotely online and Jake and I move around to various cities while he continues to play hockey. 10 years and a lot of wonderful memories later, we now have our first home in Grand Rapids where we live in the summer with our two doodle puppy's Charlie & Cleo. We're not quite sure where the coming years will take us, but it's been a fun ride so far and we're looking forward to taking our next steps together as husband & wife.
