Michael and Cassie met in Penn Yan, NY back in 2005. We met through Michael’s cousin/Cassie’s best friend Kayla. We spent a lot of time together at various family gatherings, vacations, and Friday nights at the pool. After high school, we went to separate colleges but kept in touch.

In 2013, Michael reached out to Cassie and asked her out on a date. Cassie had Michael check with Kayla first and her response was “It’s about time!” We went on our first date to Benucci’s and spent most of the night talking and catching up.

After our first date, we continued to build a life together. In September 2016, we moved in together. In April 2019 we bought our first house in Farmington, NY. In that same year we brought Murphy home in July and Maisie unexpectedly joined our family in September.

2021 was another big year for us when Michael finally proposed to Cassie! In August we brought Ellie in to our family and then in November, we sold our first home and purchased our second home in Shortsville, NY.

Over the last 9 years, we have created a life together and our own little family. 2022 will bring us our biggest adventure yet when we get married on October 29 in Mendon, NY. We hope to see you there and cannot wait to celebrate with you!
