San Francisco

Approximately 85 miles from Winters. Countless landmarks to see, amazing food to try and great museums to keep you entertained. Catch an SF Giants baseball game or go check out Alcatraz!

Napa Valley and Sonoma Coastline

43 miles from Winters: If you are a wine lover, this destination is a must. While the Napa Valley is iconic, we encourage you to check out Sonoma County as well. It is quiet, the coastline is unmatched, and the tasting fees are much more affordable. Most importantly the wine is just as good. If wine is not your thing, the Sonoma Coast is full of amazing hiking trails and is also known for it's local cheese making industry.

Lake Tahoe

147 Miles from Winters: Lake Tahoe is one of our favorite places in Northern California. This alpine lake offers unbeatable views, crystal blue waters, fresh air, and plenty of hiking. If weather permits, you may get lucky and try some spring skiing. Rent a boat for a day on the lake. There is a biking trail that goes all the way around the lake, or you can take a dip in the ice cold water. Highly recommend for anyone interested in checking out our state's natural beauty.

Sacramento County

30 Miles from Winters: Sacramento is our state capital, home to important landmarks from the gold rush. If you are traveling with kids, we have an excellent railroad museum and the newly built Museum of Science and Curiosity. You can find charming farmers markets, excellent craft breweries, and great restaurants in midtown. Also check out the Sacramento Athletics while they are in town! Travel further east in the county to our hometown of Folsom for endless biking trails or enjoy a lake day at one or our two lakes.
