Our first picture together! After meeting at youth group and becoming friends, Owen came out to see Cassandra perform in the marching band.

We officially started dating on Halloween in 2017. How did it happen? Well, Cassandra asked Owen out over Snapchat texts.

Dating in high school means going to winter formals...

...junior ring dances...

...homecomings...

... and makeshift proms together! This particular covid prom was sponsored by the Madigan's basement.

Move in day at Creighton and the long distance relationship began. This was the start of five long years of planning weekend trips, double Thanksgivings, and waiting for summer break.

Cassandra moved to Kansas City for college, making that long distance more of a medium distance. Many weekend trips were to come!

Valentine's weekend in Omaha, cause when you think of Omaha in February, you think 50 degrees and sunny!

Owen needed to come to KC to cheer on St. Louis City soccer... Seeing his brother and Cassandra was just a bonus.

And we thought school dances were over!

After two and a half years of medium distance dating, Cassandra had enough and moved to Ireland for a semester. Many video calls and texts were exchanged.

While she was gone, Owen decided to graduate college! Go Jays!

With Cassandra back in the country, our weekend trips could resume!

After five long years, long distance dating was officially over. Cassandra moved to Omaha!
