Joshua and Cassandra met for the first time on May 31st, 2024 at the wedding of Michael and Erika Cebrera. Before her wedding speech to the bride and groom, Cassandra mentioned her "nervousness" within an earshot of Joshua. Joshua's ears perked up to this and he decided to start some small talk and provide advice to Cassandra on her wedding speech. After a few minutes of talking, Joshua and Cassandra connected over their mutual interests. Joshua took the initiative and asked for Cassandra's number that night. After three weeks of dating, Joshua asked Cassandra to be his girlfriend on June 28th, 2024. For both of them, things

became very serious early on. By July 17th, both of them said, "I love you" for the first time. By August 18th, they both went ring shopping for the first and last time. On November 2nd, 2024, Joshua brought Cassandra to the spot where they fell in love and asked for her hand in marriage with a simple "will you marry me?"
