Jamie and Cassie were initially colleagues and quickly became best friends and framily (friends+family). They can always count on each other no matter the distance. Jamie even brought her family to good old Wisconsin this past summer just to meet the man that had captured Cassie's heart, and of course, to sample the cheese curds.

Scott and Trent have been best friends for too long to count. This dynamic duo can always be counted on for a good laugh. Think modern day odd couple.

Alaina and Cassie met on quite the adventure and have been two peas in one pod ever since.

Also known as Scott's big brother. Looking out for his little bro since 1989.

Best friends since they were kids (seven and nine to be exact) and still going strong. Nicole took Cassie under her wing and Cassie has been tagging along ever since, with no intention of stopping anytime soon. While they are no longer nextdoor neighbors, they are finally in the same state again, which they consider quite a victory.

Scott's nephew and best hunting buddy. His bond with his "Uncle Tuff" is adorable.

Abby and Cassie have been friends since elementary school. And while they were often miles apart, we're talking thousands, Abby always found a way to visit and join Cassie on new adventures. And whenever Cassie returned home, one of her first stops was always to see Abby. Some things like this friendship are just timeless.

Once a SMC Chick Always a SMC Chick. Cassie and Kristen met at Saint Mary's College Notre Dame Indiana. They became close on Cassie's first international adventure to Europe for a conference where Kristen showed her the ropes as they rode trams, stayed in hostels, and visited museums.

Maria and Cassie became close as they studied for the BAR in law school. Those dark days of dry erase markers, flash cards, and too much caffeine led to years of laughter and joy. No matter where their lives have taken them, they have always remained but a short call away.

Also known as Trent's better half, Sam learned early on that Trent and Scott were a joint package. Don't worry, she's been sharing all her survival strategies with Cassie. Trent found his wife in Sam, and Scott found another best friend.

Trisha and Cassie are cousins. From an early age, Cassie followed Trisha around intrigued by everything her cousin did. And while it probably wasn't cool to have your kid cousin crashing your dates, Trisha was a good sport sport and usually let Cassie tag along.

Cody and Scott spent their summers in Dickyville a/k/a the "back forty" as kids. Cody and Scott learned to love the land and all it can provide. They played, hunted, and became fine young men together there. They are both excited to carry on these traditions together with their children.
