Nate and I met when we had both just recently moved to St Cloud, MN back in Fall of 2017 to pursue our education & to swim on a collegiate swim team. We met at my first college party and I noticed him almost immediately and mustered up the courage to go and talk to him. He was so genuine, and I could tell he had a huge heart, even the first time speaking to him. We proceeded to talk about swimming, life values, goals, and what matters most to us. The funny thing is we both came to MN for a fresh start, and with NO intentions of dating. But of course, we broke our own rules and began dating despite our own pacts. From that day on, he continuously showed fierce love, passion, and dedication to be there for not only me, but my family as well. Fast forward to today, Nate has become my best friend and supporter. He is always in my corner, challenging me to be the best version of myself. I am lucky to have him as my partner and cannot wait to trade fiancé for husband soon!
