Shannon and Cassie became friends first day of freshman year at Morris County School of Technology, for the Academy of Visual and Performing Arts. Shannon was Multimedia side, and Cassie was the Dance side. Their friendship really blossomed in Miss Weigel’s English class, where Shannon was the loud and outspoken one, and Cassie was quiet, shy and mostly kept to herself. Shannon pulled Cassie into her group and taught Cassie to speak up, be her crazy self, and love her crazy self!

John Andrew is Danny’s oldest brother, his biggest supporter when it came to sports and someone that he knows everyday at 5:01 will call him with a “Riggs, what are you doing?” No matter where the game or the match was for Danny, John Andrew was always the first one there and the loudest one in the crowd!

Sarah and Cassie became friends in 2006 on a church retreat, after that weekend, the spent every weekend with each other until Sarah moved to South Carolina in 2009. The distance did not keep them from always being there for each other. Whenever Sarah visited home, it was always the best week for Cassie, because she had her best friend staying in her house for a week! One time they passed as twins to get in for free on a Jersey Shore beach!

Anthony is Danny’s middle older brother who Danny always looked up to. Anthony was Danny’s coach while he was in high school and would always drop anything to help Danny prepare for a match, whether it was for him to cut weight, or life advice, he knew he would show up.

Arianna is Cassie’s youngest sister. Arianna is definitely the feisty Sundstrom-Smith, but has the biggest heart. Cassie has always loved being a big sister, but Arianna knows how to push her buttons perfectly. Arianna has always been Cassie’s biggest supporter and has always rooted her on.

Groom’s MVP goes to the one and only John Colabella, who is Danny’s father. John is Danny’s biggest role model and mentor. Danny hopes to be half of the man that John is.

Karlee is Cassie’s younger sister. Karlee has a loving heart and a big mouth! Karlee followed Cassie’s footsteps in dance, where Cassie was Karlee’s dance teacher for many classes growing up. Karlee knows that she can call Cassie at any time and Cassie will be there for her.

Andrew is Cassie’s oldest brother. Danny and Andrew love to talk about sports and politics. Danny is excited to have another older brother to add to his family.

Kyra is Cassie’s sister-in-law. Kyra was actually Cassie’s friend first before Andrew started to date Kyra in high school. Kyra was a grade above Cassie but also in the Dance Academy where their friendship started. Kyra has been the older sister that Cassie never had, and Cassie calls Kyra with every minor inconvenience, along with happy stuff. You can always catch Kyra and Cassie sharing a bottle of wine with each other whenever they are together.

Joseph is Danny’s younger cousin, who will be 21 for their wedding!! Danny always looked at Joseph as a younger brother and hoped that he would inspire him to be the best that he can be.

Mary is Cassie’s soon to be sister-in-law. Mary and Cassie both started dating the Colabella brothers during the same time frame. With Danny and Anthony being so close, it brought Cassie and Mary to become close. Whenever the two of them are together they always have a great time.

Kyle has been friends with Danny since they were seven years old. Their friendship started with tee ball, and they continued to play baseball with each other until Danny was 24. Danny knows that Kyle will always be there whenever he needs him.

Bethanie and Cassie became friends at Pinch Brook Golf Course when Cassie was the Assistant and Bethanie worked Food and Beverage. Soon enough Bethanie became Assistant Director and Cassie became Director, this was the first time that Billy Casper had two women running a golf course, and they did an AMAZING job. Bethanie has always had Cassie’s back and vice versa. Cassie knows that she can FaceTime Bethanie at any time, and she will answer!

Joe is Danny’s longest friend since Kindergarten. Danny and Joe played Football and Baseball with each other, but also every sport imaginable in their front yards. Danny knows that if he called Joe for any situation, Joe would not ask questions and show up.

Maryssa and Cassie have been friends since babies. They grew up in the church together. Their friendship grew during middle school when they were in the same Confirmation group, in Youth Praise Band together and did Vacation Bible School with each other. Maryssa became another sister in the Sundstrom-Smith household and they always had pizza bagels and chicken nuggets ready for Maryssa’s arrival.

Shane and Danny have been friends since elementary school. If you find Danny and Shane together, chances are it is on the golf course playing a round and having a great time. Shane has always been there for Danny and is one of his truest friends.

Alexis and Cassie have been best friends since they were three years old. They grew up in the same neighborhood and had their neighborhood group of friends that always met up by riding their bikes to each other’s houses. Alexis and Cassie ended up rooming with each other for a year in college and have always celebrated each other’s biggest accomplishments. Cassie could not imagine her wedding day without Alexis by her side.

AJ is Danny and Cassie’s Captain America, always protecting them from the monsters and bad guys. AJ brings the life of the party and always refers to Danny and Cassie as DeeCat. Get ready for AJ’s dance moves out on the floor. AJ holds a very special place in both Danny and Cassie’s hearts.

Cassie has known Lillie before Lillie was even born. Lillie is Cassie’s best friend, Sarah’s daughter. Lillie is smart, beautiful and sassy! Lillie may be only twelve years old but is going on twenty. Lillie will randomly text or FaceTime Cassie whenever she is bored, and Cassie will always answer her.

Little Andrew is Cassie and Danny’s first nephew, and Cassie’s Godson! Little Andrew always has the biggest smile on his face and is the most loving boy. Cassie and Danny could not imagine their day without their little man helping them out!
