Where is the wedding?

The wedding ceremony and reception will be held at Prospect Lake Community Hall.

Where is the Registry?

We haven't made one! If you wish to gift us something, funds toward a honeymoon would be wonderful.

What's the order of events?

Go to the "Day of Details" tab.

Is this an outdoor wedding?

Our wedding ceremony will be outdoors in the garden just outside the hall. A reception will follow afterwards in the garden with lawn games, cocktails, and more. Dinner, speeches, and dancing will be held inside the hall.

Are kids welcome?

Yes! Kiddoes are welcome to join, we have lots of friends with small families and we want to make sure everyone who'd like to come can join, regardless of if there are little ones. If your child is >3 years old, please make sure they were listed on the RSVP - this helps us to give the correct numbers to our caterers. Kids under 3 are not counted on our RSVP.

What will the weather be like?

For those who are traveling, June in BC has a nickname - June-uary!! While we hope for an sunny day, weather can be unpredictable. So pack a warm layer, and know that if it is raining we will move the party into the hall a little bit sooner than planned.

Where should I park?

There is plenty of free parking in the lot outside the hall.

Can I leave my car at the venue overnight?

Yes, though you do need to come collect it the next day by 12noon.

What's for dinner?!

A delicious buffet brought to you by Open Water Catering.

The menu is:

Traditional Caesar salad with shaved Parmesan, bacon bits, and fresh baked croutons

Cinnamon peach salad with arugula, fresh blueberries, herbed bocconcini, maple toasted pecans in a honey balsamic vinaigrette

Truffle butter corn with sugar snap peas

Mediterranean marinated roasted potatoes

Seared Sockeye salmon with whipped feta and chermoula

Bacon wrapped caramelized onion and brie stuffed pork loin

What time will the reception end?

We must be packed up and out of the venue by 12am. If you are taking a cab, please call ahead to ideally be leaving by this time.
