Glenn and Cassidi met at work in 2020. Glenn was excited to have the day off when his partner called out for the day but, to his dismay, a newbie (Cassidi) was eager to fill the spot and appease her new company! Glenn drug himself to work that day, annoyed as ever. Cassidi came into the station to Glenn with his boot off and bare foot in the air showing a group of girls his removed toenail (that's the medical field for you). She thought he was really weird and dreaded the shift for all of 5 minutes before she realized he was funny. Glenn and Cassidi spent 8 full hours stuffed in the front of an ambulance on a low call volume day leaving plenty of time to get to know each other. Exactly one week after that day Glenn asked Cassidi to be his girlfriend!

Their whole relationship has been a complete whirlwind of love and trust and friendship. Nothing has been conventional or gone to plan. Glenn is 8 years older than Cassidi and came with the greatest blessing, 7 year old Hunter. Cassidi moved in with Glenn and Hunter just two months after they started dating on a huge leap of faith from both sides. Glenn and Cassidi underwent promotions, upgrades of cars, upgrades of houses, losses, and disappointments all in just 2 years.

In September of 2022, Cassidi and Glenn went on an 8 state road trip to visit Glenns grandparents in Texas. They shared dreams and planned their life and surprisingly did not fight over missed turns or poor instructions (cough cough, Cassidi, cough cough). When they got back home after a week long trip Cassidi proposed to Glenn in their home just the two of them, as perfect and simple as every other day they share.

Since the engagement, Cassidi and Glenn have made many changes to their life. In addition to planning a wedding, they also decided to take on moving to Oklahoma and starting completely over in the place they fell in love with on their road trip.
