Josh and I had seen each other at church, but were not acquainted until we formally met at a mutual friends house. . It was about 2 months later that Josh and I's path crossed again at church.Long story short, I was introduced to this young man who was currently homeless needing help. Church service was about to start, so I ask the young man if he wants to sit by my mom and I during service. We end up sitting in the row Josh is in. After service Josh and I talked for a bit, and I tried to explain the situation with the young man. Later that day, Josh messaged me in regards to the young man and that's when we start talking more. It wasn't until another month later that we went on a first date. We walked around the Christmas light display at the park.

We've had to learn how to navigate the distance and how to merge our 2 very independent adult lives together. But through it all the Lord has been good. Then on Aug. 12th, 2023 Josh proposed to me in the oasis of my parents' backyard. We can't wait to celebrate with you all!
