Our Wedding

Adric and Cassidy met through a Greenville GroupMe Chat. Cassidy was added to the GroupMe chat through a co-worker. Adric was the most outspoken in the group, and Cassidy took notice. Cassidy decided to reach out to Adric to make plans. If you know anything about Cassidy, she is late for most things. Adric invited Cassidy to hang out with him and his friends; you guessed it, she was late. They did not meet that night, but Adric extended the invite to Fall for Greenville, a festival in Greenville, SC. Adric asked Cassidy to first stop by one of his friend's homes, where Adric was grilling. You are missing out if you have never had Adric&#8217;s food, but the ribs were amazing, to say the least. Due to the amount of time Adric was grilling, the trip to Fall for Greenville did not happen, but a dinner date was next on the docket.

After work, Adric and Cassidy went to Sascha&#8217;s, a Colombian restaurant in Greenville. Adric and Cassidy had a chance to talk about life and get to know each other. Adric invited Cassidy to his home, where she met his mom and Mema, whom she felt connected with from the beginning. She still remembers singing &#8220;Hit The Road Jack&#8221; with his grandma before hitting the road. Later in the week, Adric and Cassidy met up at a bar with his friends. As everyone slowly trickled out Adric and Cassidy were left to chat. Because of the friendship Adric and Cassidy developed over a short time, Adric asked Cassidy to be his wing-women; however, Cassidy had other plans. Cassidy &#8220;shot her shot&#8221;, which she thought she would never do.

From there, Adric and Cassidy began spending more time together, and began dating March 15th, 2020. During Adric and Cassidy&#8217;s time together, they spent a lot of time with family, and in 2021, they moved to Seattle. During Adric and Cassidy&#8217;s time in Seattle, they were able to form close friendships and figure out what they needed as a couple. On December 17th, 2023, Adric proposed to Cassidy in their Seattle church home, in the space where they grew closer to God and within their relationship. As we look forward to the union of Cassidy and Adric, they think about the past and what led them to this amazing journey.

Hiii! My name is Toria Bennett. I met Cassidy in college, where we cheered together and made a sisterly bond that I’m forever grateful for. I spend my time teaching first grade, coaching gymnastics/cheerleading, and occasionally shopping.

Garrett currently resides in Washington, DC and is a country boy with city taste from Laurens, SC. By day, he's a lobbyist, by night, he's Batman.  

He is what you get when you put a Kanye verse over "Tennessee Whiskey". He considers himself a "social introvert" meaning he can be the life of the party or hiding in the corner, plotting an escape to go home and watch anime, though his favorite show is Jeopardy! He's a terrible golfer and even worse singer. Most importantly, he is the world's greatest Uncle!

I met Adric through mutual friends in Greenville, SC. When we first met, I thought he talked entirely too much but we quickly became friends as we connected around our country roots and shared interests.

Garrett McDaniel

I’m Tyler, I’m Cassidy’s older sister. I’m from Maryland but I’m currently living in North Carolina. I’ve had the pleasure of watching my sister grow into a beautiful independent young woman. One day she brought Adric to Thanksgiving and we clicked right away. They’ve been inseparable ever since. So happy to welcome him to the family.

Tyler Brown

I live in Charleston with my wife and daughter. I met Adric when we were in middle school at Getty's Middle and we've been close ever since - Adric was actually the best man at my wedding in 2012. In my spare time, I enjoy woodworking, biking, and climbing. I currently work as a data analyst after teaching high school biology for 12 years.

Samuel Abrams

Cass and I met during our time working at Amazon in Greenville. We survived night shift together and have been friends ever since! I'm originally from Atlanta but my husband is military, so we move all over. We are currently living down in Savannah, GA. We recently had our first baby boy in January of 2024. I work remote and in my free time I enjoy yoga and traveling. I am so excited to celebrate Cass and Adric moving into this next season of life!

Sydney Hoagland

Let me take you back to when I first met my fellow light bright brother at a wild college house party thrown by a now-elected official Fall of 2008. No lie, we were this close to throwing hands—my crew versus his crew. It was about to be the most ridiculous showdown ever, but thankfully, cooler heads (and probably the thought of future campaign donations) kept us from duking it out. Shoutout to that public official for keeping the peace! 

After that, we exchanged some smug looks throughout the semester, but nothing major. Then out of nowhere, BOOM—we bonded over our mutual appreciation of a certain "flower" with The Cypher crew, and we’ve been locked-in ever since! From dodging eviction notices in college, grieving the loss of loved ones, throwing down at tailgates, legendary birthdays, and even celebrating for no reason other than seeing each other—this guy’s been there for it all. I’m beyond blessed to have such an incredible human in my corner, and I can’t wait to celebrate this epic life moment with him!


Dominique "Niko" Gray

Hi everyone my name is Madison Lynn and I am the groom's sister (Adric). I graduated in May of 2025 from the illustrious North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University as a Marketing/Marketing Supply Chain Management student. I love music and nature and I am so excited for the newlyweds!

My name is Spencer Williams and I’m from Pendleton, South Carolina. I currently reside in California and enjoy in my off time searching for the perfect cocktail, a hole in one, and vacation to spots that makes me want cancel my return flight. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Cass and understand why Adric fell head over heels for her. Her infectious smile and connective energy is something that lights up rooms. I was a roommate of Adric’s at Carolina and we found a way to have enough fun for a lifetime and I’m proud to call him a lifelong friend. Can’t wait to celebrate these two wonderful people’s love! 

Spencer Williams

Hi, I am Angela, but I’m affectionately known as Ang to many. I was born and raised in Chicago but spent a little over the last decade in Alabama before relocating to Seattle. While Cassidy doesn’t recall we originally met at a Sorors Christmas party, but she will say we met that following summer. Shortly afterwards she sent me a message and said,” So I’ve decided we won’t just be sorors we will be friends.” We bonded over not loving Seattle but soon realized that ice cream and random chill nights will make it better. Our ice cream dates, and random chill nights have been put to a halt, but the friendship still remains. Turns out Seattle wasn’t that bad after all. 

Angela Booker

I am a New York native based out of Seattle. Shortly after relocating to the Pacific Northwest, I was lucky enough to connect with Adric, who was filling the massive PNW bbq void one rib rack at a time. After one plate and a whole day laughing at and with each other on the roof, a friendship was born that continues to this day.

Antonio Alston

I belong to both the bride and the groom and I'm super thrilled to be a part of this new season! Meeting in Greenville, a bond was quickly formed with Adric where many began to call me his "sister". On the most random night, like true family he stopped by but this time he brought Cassidy over. On that night, little did I know I would gain a new friend to show me what sisterhood is all about. It's been a pleasure to watch them grow together and I look forward to the new chapters ahead.

My name is Edwin Davish, and because my dad and I were both in the military I am from a little bit of all over.
After getting out in 2017 my wife and I settled in South Carolina. The superior Carolina.

I met Adric at the aerospace and defense company we both work at. Adric's warm demeanor and outgoing personality made him an instant hit amongst our teams. We share a lot of common interests and views, making us fast friends.
Thankfully, Adric and I stayed in touch during his tenure in the Pacific Northwest and I was able to talk him into coming back to work with me.

I am incredibly grateful to have a friend like Adric. I am even more grateful to be a part of such a momentous occasion in his life. But I am most grateful that such a well-deserving man found his someone.

Hi, I’m Aiesha Morrison! Cassidy and I met while working at Amazon and instantly bonded over our unique blend of social awkwardness and unwavering confidence. Our marathon talking sessions after wild workdays were just the beginning. Since then, we've navigated birthdays, weddings, and countless spontaneous food ventures together, always fueled by our mutual respect for each other's many talents. 
I'm a globe wanderer, a knowledge enthusiast, and a staunch advocate for all things healthy and just. I have a passion for walking and embracing new experiences. Here's a quirky quote from Nikola Tesla that I love: "I don't care that they stole my idea… I care that they don't have any of their own." 
I am incredibly grateful to be chosen as a bridesmaid for Cassidy, and I look forward to making even more memories together! 


Aiesha Morrison

My name is Carter and my wife and I live in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. We both quickly became friends with Adric and Cass through Adric's enrollment in the Wake Forest University MBA program where I helped recruit him as one of our students. It also helped that we were all somewhat new to the area and were able to discover a lot of the area together whether grabbing food and drinks downtown on the weekend, smoking brisket at Adric's or meeting up for a Wake Forest event. While we have not known the wonderful couple as long as some others, we have enjoyed the blessing of getting to know these two amazing people. Not only as individuals, but now as a union together joined by their clear love for one another as well as their love for God. We pray that their union may be long, happy, and fruitful.
