The Love Story

Picture of The Love Story

Cassidy and Spencer's love story began when they met on the New Hope High School Robotics team and fell in love in July 2018.

Spencer is the son of Betty and Roger Duncan, and Cassidy is the daughter of AJ and Tracy Budgins.

Today, they have two cats and a dog. Spencer works as an electrical technician for a local communications company. Cassidy works as a chemical engineer. They plan to continue living in New Hope, and working towards a future that honors God.

"I thank my God every time I remember you." - Philippians 1:3

If you would like to celebrate with a gift, we are registered at Amazon and Belk.

"He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the Lord." - Proverbs 18:22

The Chapel

Built in 1842, the Pickensville Methodist Church is one of the oldest surviving churches in Pickens County. The building has been historically restored and preserved. The owners have graciously agreed to allow Spencer and Cassidy to exchange vows in the sacred place.

We ask that you will join us in prayer that God will work through this marriage for as long as he's worked through the Pickensville Methodist Church.

Thank you to our friends, family, and community for continuously loving and supporting us.
