Who doesn’t love a Hollywood romance story? Or the princess fairytale where every girl dreams of their knight and shining armor sweeping them off their feet? No matter the circumstance, there is no denying the beautiful love story of two people that God brought together. Christian and Cassidy acquire a rather unique love story that will have you in awe of how amazing God truly is. Since we live in the 21st century, there is of course social media where you can correspond with people, stalk people, gain inspiration, and find a love interest. Though some may discourage finding love on social media, that is how Christian and Cassidy evidently became a couple. They happened to follow eachother on Instagram because they both attended the same high school at some point. Cassidy attended Poteet High School as a sophomore, while Christian was a freshman. Yep you read that right! Cassidy is older than Christian. It is understandable as to why Cassidy never really met Christian in highschool. I mean he was an immature freshman. That is a slight exaggeration. In May of 2022, Christian happened to come across a photo of Cassidy that she had recently posted. After studying her profile picture and reading her username, he decided to reach out to her. His seemingly clever, but funny question was “How do you tell a girl she’s cute without telling her she’s cute? Asking for myself.” It took Cassidy three whole minutes to respond. Yeah that’s a long time right? They ended up corresponding with each other that night. Christian was eager to meet Cassidy, but she was hesitant to meet someone she barely knows. She made up an excuse as to why she could not meet him in person that weekend. Understandably, Christian was concerned about being able to entertain her a whole week over the phone, so she does not lose interest in him. Unsurprisingly, they were able to keep in touch the whole week leading up to their meeting. (They don’t consider it a date). They met at Latham’s Bakery in Kaufman. As soon as Cassidy stepped out of her car, Christian told her in his unique southern accent “You look even prettier in person” and then gave her a hug. Cassidy immediately admired his confidence and charm. He definitely laid the charm on thick that day. Christian had the intentions of dating Cassidy whereas she was a little reserved. He basically had to blow her socks off to impress her. When they sat down with their coffee, Cassidy immediately began the conversation. If you know Cassidy, she is typically quiet until she gets to know you. This instance was different. Christian and Cassidy talked for four hours at Latham Bakery. Before they left, Christian could not allow Cassidy to leave without asking her on a date to the Mesquite Rodeo. She said yes (big shock right).

Prior to meeting Cassidy, Christian has sworn off girls. He asked God that the next one be the last one.
