Matt and I met at Horton prom party in 2016. It was then (with some liquid courage) that I marched right on up to Matt and told him that I thought he was cute! Little did we know that 9 years later we'd be tying the knot.
We were both eager to start at Acadia in the fall of 2016, we soon learned that not only were we both going to be living in Eaton House, but we were both assigned rooms on the 4th floor. This is one of the many reasons that Acadia is a very special place to the both of us. In fact, both sets of our parents were actually married at the Manning Memorial Chapel - we wanted to keep the tradition going!
Funny enough, the connection between Matt and I started well before 2016. In the basement of my parents house, there is a picture of my first family dog, a Springer Spaniel named Bailey. When Matt was first visiting, he noticed this picture and said that his Grampy Hugh and Nanny Mary had and bred Springer Spaniels. We were soon to learn that Cass' childhood pup came from Matt's family!
