Cassidy's Version:

Spencer and I met on a a dating app (Tinder) in February of 2021. At this time, I lived in Fort Wayne and was attending the University of Saint Francis. Spencer was attending Indiana University in Bloomington, but was home in Angola for Christmas break (COVID version) . After matching, we talked for quite awhile, before discussing where we thought this relationship was going. Spencer was back at IU at this point and was about a 3 hour drive from Fort Wayne. He was hesitant about a long distance relationship, so we settled on friendship. When Spencer came back from college for the summer, we ended up getting together and hanging out. From the first moment I met Spencer, I knew this was something bigger than friendship. We began continuously talking until eventually our connection grew stronger and we began dating. We worked through two years of a distance relationship (Fort Wayne to Bloomington and Indianapolis to Bloomington), before finally living in the same city this year. Throughout these years, although the distance was tough, it only brought us closer together. We built a wonderful friendship before dating, that has only grown stronger through our relationship. I cannot wait to take this next step of our relationship and begin building our lives together. I know this great love will only continue to grow through our marriage!

Spencer's Version:

When I matched with Cassidy on Tinder, I was home from college on winter break. Cassidy and I texted for a while but, ultimately, I told her I didn't want to do a long distance relationship. Throughout that semester, we kept in touch. I eventually came to my senses and realized that Cassidy was so great that going through a long distance relationship with her would be worth it. I think going through that bolstered our communication skills and made each time we saw each other so special. From early on, I knew Cassidy was different and I can't wait to see what the future holds for us.
