Wedding Day

Our Wedding

Cassidy and Cole both started attending Texas A&amp;M in the Fall of 2018. There, they both had an 8 am lab in the same building on the same day freshman year, got their Aggie rings the same weekend in April 2021, and even graduated just a few days apart in May of 2022. However, their paths never directly crossed and they did not know each other at A&amp;M.

It wasn’t until December of 2023 when Cole was living in New Braunfels, and Cassidy in San Antonio, that they finally connected on the dating app hinge.

On January 3rd, 2024 they finally met for a first date at an Italian restaurant. The date went way better than both of them could’ve imagined and the rest is history.

Cole proposed on April 19, 2025 which led them here, to planning their wedding for May 16, 2026.

Cassidy met Kaylee at work and Kaylee has shaped her life and been a friend/listening ear for all the ups and downs.

Cole and Rick are friends since childhood who have been there for each other through A LOT of memories and stories.

A lifelong childhood bestfriend of Cassidy. Who became like the 3rd daughter in the Kusenberger family.

From childhood friends to freshman year roommates to groomsmen in each other's weddings, they've grown up together and will be lifelong friends.

Cole's older sister who Cassidy is so excited to call family for the rest of their lives.

They've been friends through many life stages! From Cole's grandma driving them home from school to seeing each other start their adult lives and find their wives! (both are avid Dallas Stars' fans)

She has become Cassidy's younger "rodeo sister." She was only 4 when Cassidy met her and Cassidy has seen her through into her teens and is excited to see Caylee continue to grow.

They met through being roommates in College Station and created a solid friendship that will see them through the rest of their lives!

Cassidy's coworker who is such a source of joy and positivity in her life. Cole and Cassidy look up to Tiana and her husband's marriage.

Another of Cole's college roommates who has become a lifelong friend. Cole and Cassidy love hanging out with Mike and his wife, Megan.

Another younger "rodeo sister." Cassidy has known Hadley since just before she was born. Watching her grow into the girl she is today has been a joy for Cassidy.

Something Blue Crew

When thinking about her something blue, Cassidy thought, why have an inanimate object that doesn't have meaning when I can have people I love dearly be my living representation of the “something blue.”

Meghan and Cassidy have worked together for over 2 years and have become close friends. Meghan is Cassidy's go-to gal for all things life. They share and experience the ups and downs of life together and will do so for years to come.

McCartney and Cassidy met during their college careers at A&M and lived together for two years.  McCartney is one of the most joyful and encouraging people Cassidy knows and appreciates her dedication to those she loves.

Kae and Cassidy grew up rodeoing together. But, it wasn't until they became roommates in college that their friendship  grew. There are few people who support Cassidy as intentionally and joyfully as Kae.

Cassidy and Cole's nephew is their ring bearer. Cassidy may be his Godmother, but Cole is his favorite.

You can see several hotel recommendations on this page. If you would like to stay in San Antonio proper (the venue is only about 20-30 minutes north), then we recommend staying near the intersection of 281 and 1604. You can also stay in Boerne and take highway 46 to the venue for a 25-30 minute drive.

The venue is 4 miles away! Located in Bulverde, 16 miles from Canyon Lake, Comal Park is 24 miles from the hotel, while The Shops at La Cantera is 24 miles from the property. San Antonio International Airport is 21 miles away.
