Cassidy and Megan met online where they connected instantly. Megan suggested they meet at Sue Ellen’s, a lesbian bar, and from there sparks went flying. Soon after, Megan moved to New York City to go to grad school, but the connection they shared was undeniable. While Megan went to school, Cassidy would visit and their love continued to grow. After a year of school, Megan moved back to Dallas and moved in with Cassidy! The more memories shared and trips they took Cassidy knew she wanted to spend forever with Megan. On March 4th, Cassidy started off the day by taking Megan to Build A Bear, a date they talked about at the beginning of their relationship. She then had a carefully crafted love playlist playing in the car as they drove to the Dallas Arboretum, a place they also both talked about visiting. After a lovely walk, Cassidy proposed in the Poetry Garden! They celebrated their evening with family before enjoying, what they both agree is the best steak dinner they ever had.

But Megan knew she also wanted to propose to Cassidy! So Megan then got to work creating a surprise proposal back. Based on their love for Survivor, Megan created an entire day dedicated to the show and memories of their love! As Cassidy drove around town to find clues collecting pieces of the puzzle she was able to get back home put everything together to find Megan proposing back! Cassidy even got an immunity necklace! Cassidy and Megan can’t wait to spend their life together as they continue to grow and share their love with everyone.
