Our Wedding

Our story began in the spring of 2020 when two mutual friends introduced us at Pretty Lake in Dousman. After spending the day together, we exchanged phone numbers. The day we met, neither of us could have imagined that we would be where we are today. In the weeks following, we got to know each other through conversation during walks at Lapham Peak Park in Delafield and the Milwaukee Lakefront. We spent the whole summer together doing things we both enjoyed.&nbsp; Everything was going well until Cassidy told Joe that she was getting ready to move away and start college at UW-Oshkosh in the Fall. Joe was determined to make the 2 hour drive every weekend if it meant he got to spend time with Cassidy. When we both thought it might not work out, the Covid-19 pandemic happened. Lockdowns, canceled in-person classes, and a lot of convincing from “you know who”, resulted in Cassidy not moving away after all. Cassidy decided to attend a college closer to home, which meant we were able to continue our relationship. The pandemic was awful, but if it had never happened, we may not be here today!&nbsp; Over the years, we have supported one another during challenging times, encouraged one another, and celebrated our achievements together. In October of 2023, Joe proposed at our favorite spot at Lapham Peak, which is the same place we had gotten to know each other years earlier. Today, we are engaged and beginning our own little family with our sweet pup named Lila, who we both adore, and we can’t wait to see what the future has in store for us!
