I met Cassidy for the first time in 6th grade. I had no clue that she would be the woman of my

dreams. We stayed in similar classes and subjects throughout high school. We ended up

in an AP language arts class together our senior year. There were a few hints here and

there that someone had a crush on me. Unfortunately, I am an oblivious person to those types of

cues.

Eventually I did catch on. One day in class we both finished our tests at the same time. We both got

up to use the stapler and I thought - this is my chance. So I let her use it first and the smile that

got sent my way is unforgettable. It was then that it all clicked and I felt confident enough to

think about my next move. I told my friends about her and they all told me to go for it. Then right

before spring break 2017, I worked up enough courage to talk to her or so I thought. I chickened out

but shortly after leaving school I sent her a message on twitter that my sister helped me write.

To my relief, she gave me her number and we set up a date.

From here I could go over all of

the amazing times we’ve had together like going to prom, graduating high school, graduating

college together, getting our own apartment, traveling new places, adopting a cat and finally getting engaged. I have

been fortunate enough to pursue my dream of being in the physical therapy field while Cassidy

has been by my side for all of it. This is one of the

things that I love about her. She has the ability to unconditionally support people. She is

the most selfless, giving, caring person I have ever met and I cannot wait for our future.
