Our 2 year anniversary was coming up and Eric wanted us to get professional photos to celebrate! We planned matching outfits and all the things, so I will admit I had a hunch about what he was up to, but I was trying not to get my hopes up.

It rained all week leading up to the date he planned for the photoshoot. This meant the location Eric planned to use, on his family property, would have been far too wet and muddy to go there and take photos. Plus, it would have been pouring... sooo we pushed the photos back a week!

But Eric quickly made a new plan, and during a break in the weather he took me to the photoshoot spot to practice some poses and pick spots for when we can get the photos done. I’m sure you can figure out what happened next!

Eric’s mom, Tina, came along to snap some photos of our “practice poses”. But she was actually there to capture our special moment!

Honestly, we couldn’t have dreamed of a more perfect scenario for us. It was the perfect private and intimate moment we always imagined it would be.

That spot with the mountain behind us is so so special to us for so many reasons. It was the most beautiful moment, and we will cherish that memory forever.
