Where should we RSVP?
Please plan to RSVP online through our website. All RSVPs should be returned to us by July 1st, 2024. If we do not receive an RSVP, we will assume you will not be in attendance and will not plan for you to join us on our wedding day.
What should I wear?
We would love for you to dress up with us! We have created a guide you can follow for help on what to wear. August can be pretty warm so be sure to dress accordingly. If invited to the private ceremony, please keep in mind that it will be outdoors and our reception will be indoors!
Is there a hotel nearby?
We have blocked out rooms at the Cobblestone Inn & Suites. Please plan to reserve a room by June 23rd, 2024. You may book here: https://tinyurl.com/MURRAY2024. There are also a few Airbnbs in Boone and other hotels if you would like to stay elsewhere. We will have a shuttle to get people from the hotel to the venue so that you do not have to worry about driving!
Can we take our own pictures + videos throughout the day?
Our ceremony will be unplugged. For this, we ask all phones and cameras to be put away. We have an amazing photographer who will be at the ceremony to capture photos so you are able to be in the moment with us! We would hate for the photos that we are paying for to potentially be ruined by a phone or camera in the crowd. You are more than welcome to take photos + videos throughout the course of the reception and we encourage you to take as many as you would like during this time! There will be a QR code for you to scan at the venue to upload photos to share with us, we would love to see your photos from our special day too.
Can I bring a date/guest?
If your guest name is listed on your invite or you have a plus one option listed when you RSVP, then yes! Otherwise, we would love to keep our wedding as intimate as possible with close friends and family.
Are kids welcome?
As we finalize our guest list, we wanted to let you know that we have decided to have young adults (16+) and adults only at our wedding. When you go to RSVP, it will say who is all included on your invite. We realize that this may impact your plans, and we want to make sure you have plenty of time to arrange for childcare.
We hope that you will still be able to join us for our special day, and we look forward to celebrating with you. Thank you for understanding, and please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
Where can I find your registry?
Your presence is the only gift we truly need. We have chosen not to have a traditional registry for this reason. We understand that many of you may still want to give us a gift to commemorate the occasion, but please know that it is completely optional. There is a Family Vacation Fund and Bouquet Preservation Fund listed on our registry for those that feel a gift is truly necessary, but again, we are just happy to be celebrating with our friends and family! We want you all to have a great time at our wedding.
What should I do if I can't make it?
You will be missed. As we prepare for the wedding, we kindly request that you let us know as soon as possible if you are unable to attend by using the RSVP section and responding that you cannot attend. We understand that unexpected events happen, but by letting us know in advance we can make necessary adjustments to our plans. If you are unable to attend, please RSVP by July 1st, 2024 so that we can provide vendors with an accurate headcount and ensure that everyone has a wonderful experience.
