Our Wedding

Adam and I have been dating since April 12, 2014. Although we have SO many memories, we will just share a couple of our favorites from all the different stages of life we've been through together!High School: Adam - The first day Cassidy came out to seed with me was one of the best days we had together in high school. It is mostly so memorable because it seemed like everything that could go wrong went wrong. For some reason that memory just sticks with me. We laughed a lot and just had to roll with all the punches. Cassidy wasn't so sure she liked seeding after that day.There are countless good memories with Cass in the combine. Just talking, listening to music and laughing. It's hard to pick a 'favorite.'Cassidy - One of my most favorite days with Adam is the first time I got to go out to the farm. It was a cool fall day, but the sun was warm. The colors had began to change and fields had all been cut. We got to ride around in the gator and explore everything... It was just so peaceful and such a free feeling. I have loved going out to the farm ever since! In College: Adam and I ended up going to colleges that were opposite directions of each other. I went down to Spearfish, to Black Hills State, while he went to NDSU. This was the time in our lives that we got to have separate experiences. The distance was difficult at times, but it was always worth it when we got to spend time sharing our favorite bars, coffee shops, restaurants and traditions with each other.Adam - My favorite memory with Cass from our college years was when I went down to Spearfish for her graduation. We got to go downtown in Spearfish to the bars with her family and have a pre-celebration. After her graduation we got to go to Deadwood. That was the first time I was in Deadwood after I turned 21. We got to gamble, sing karaoke, and drink to much. It was a really good time. Cassidy - I would say my favorite memory with Adam in college was when he came down for his spring break one year. We got to go to all my favorite coffee shops (multiple times) and go for a couple nice walks in the cool, crisp March air. Again, we got to talk and laugh and just enjoy such a beautiful place together. He's always been my favorite person to experience things with! Engagement Story:Adam had recently purchased a 1992 Hornet class C R.V. Although the RV is in great shape, it needed a deep cleaning. On Wednesday, August 3rd, Adam made sure I would be coming out to clean our RV so we would be ready to hit the road just as soon as harvest was done. Once I had made it out to the farm we got our bucket of soapy water and headed down to the shop to start cleaning. After about 45 minutes of cleaning Adam had asked me if I was ready to go check some of the fields and look at the hail damage that had taken place earlier in the summer. I was confused why he was disrupting our cleaning session because of how badly he wanted this RV cleaned and ready to go... Once we hopped in the pick-up and began taking off, Adam said we were going to check Stanley's first (a field near White Butte). This excited me because of how pretty of a view this particular field has. Once we arrived, Adam got me out of the pick-up saying he wanted to take a picture of me in the wheat. I am not the greatest fan of my picture being taken, so naturally I argued with him and complained a little bit. Once I was out and my picture had been taken, we were looking at the view and for a split second in my head I thought, "Wow, this would be the most perfect time and place to be proposed to!" A couple moments later, Adam indeed asked me to be his wife...!! We were together, at the farm, spending quality time together. He couldn't have planned a more perfect moment for us to share! We can't wait to celebrate our love with all the people we love the most!
