We met October 2018 when both working at Les Schwab Tire Center in Corvallis Oregon. We started officially dating December 5th, 2018 and spent most of our free time together. Both in our Senior years at Oregon State University, we spent the first 6 months of our relationship bowling at the local alley, going to Clod's on Friday nights and meeting each other's friends, many of whom we are so happy can be involved in our wedding.

Our relationship progressed after we graduated. We both love country music, Mexican food and spending time with our family's. One of our favorite concerts was Luke Combs in 2019, where we BOTH cried our eyes out during "Beautiful Crazy."

COVID was hard on everyone but we found ways to make the best of the situation. Though we were not living together at the time (Cassidy in Bend working at the hospital and Michael in Detroit, OR working for the Forest Service), we make an effort to see each other often, like the beach trip of March 2020.

Michael moved to Bend in late 2021 and started working as an arborist. Living together allowed us lots of time for new experiences, including Ugly Sweater themed Christmas concerts, hikes to the top of Black Butte and snowboarding on Hoodoo.

Year 3 of us together had a TON of weddings for our loved ones. We both love to dance, so it was safe to assume we tore up any dance floor we were near. Michael will never be able to forget the drive to Wenatchee with Cassidy's entire family as we sung "Bohemian Rhapsody" at our loudest volume.

Living in Bend meant our friends could come for CyclePub afternoons, Fourth of July parties complete with giant yard beer pong and many days spent on the lake with Uncle Trav and the Wheeler Clan!

Levi and Michael have been friends since they were kids. Jess and Cassidy have become so close throughout the last few years and have shared so many fun memories, including Beaver football games, Settlers of Cantan battles and cuddles with Benny the Bulldog!

2023 was a busy year for us! A visit to see Tayla (Cassidy's middle sister) and her boyfriend Dalton in May, weddings and nights out all summer with many friends and family, and Festivus in December with friends Paul and Becky!

A long weekend well spent in sunny San Diego with Jess and Levi (and Benny!). Fun Fact - Cassidy thought this would be the weekend that Michael's proposed but he had a surprise up his sleeve, The remainder of the summer and fall included lots of tree work for Michael's very own tree service, Hussey Tree Service LLC, concerts with friends Aaron and Emmy and comedy shows with youngest sister of Cassidy, Caitlin (also the MOH).

BEST DAY EVER! We had just arrived in Cancun Mexico and Michael asked Cassidy to marry him! There were lots of tears, drinks and laughs shared that night! 6 years of dating later ended in the perfect proposal! We are so excited to see what the next 60 years are to bring together as the Husseys.
