How We MetA Tinder love story? Who would of thought? We really should write them a five star review one of these days...Like many modern romances, our story started with a swipe on a dating app. After exchanging a few messages we decided we liked each other enough to plan a first date.The First DateThe plan was to do something light and fun. We ended up going to this interactive museum called Hopscotch. It looked awesome online. A museum you could walk through, drink in hand, while engaging in a variety of interactive exhibits and activities. At least that's what I thought when I (Cassie) planned the date.Hopscotch actually turned out to be a slew of insanely elaborate photo stages. This would of been the perfect place for an established couple who'd been together for a while, but not exactly ideal for two people who were meeting for the very first time. Despite the initial awkwardness of being surrounded by couples making Instagram worthy content, we laughed and got to know each other as we made our way through the museum.It gets better. Leaving the museum, I break my glasses. Yep. Now I can't see a thing. I'm BLIND and completely MORTIFIED. We made our way to a local gas station and spent the next 35 minutes in the car trying to piece them back together with super glue and tape- which absolutely did not work. Dustin was kind enough to drive me all the way back home. Despite all the bumps on our first date, we both must have been really enjoying the ride and the company because that bumpy road led to many more.Falling in LoveWhat started with a swipe, a meme, and a bumpy first date turned into nightly Facetime Calls, weekly dinner dates, comedy shows and concerts, and binging every season of "F is For Family" on Netflix.Becoming A FamilyDustin met Atlas and a little family of two turned into a family of three. Staying over one night turned into moving in together because we'd rather be together than apart. We were living happily as a Family of three and 3 dogs. We soon found out God a few more surprises in store for us. Our family was expanding not by one- but by two! We had our twins this past January. Since then we've fallen even more in love in between bedtime routines, Storytime, family movie nights, and weekly baseball games. We have faced our fair share of challenges, but we have faced them together. It hasn't all been easy- but it has all been 100 percent worth it.What It's All AboutThey say "God laughs while your making plans". Well love's not about having the perfect date or perfect plan. It doesn't grow in perfect moments. It grows in how you hold on through the imperfect ones. The unplanned and unpredictable ones. Life and love are both beautiful and messy.
