January 27, 2022... we swiped right. Well, that was how it started, but it was the kickball league that really got the ball rolling (pun intended). This common ground helped convince Cassie to agree to meet for our first date. It was at Elisabetta's Restaurant in Delray Beach and even though it lasted over 4 hours it somehow didn't feel long enough. Luckily, many more exciting dates soon followed from mini golf to axe throwing to, of course, a hockey game. Every date was better than the last and I was all in, how could I not be? And after a few months, it was finally official - we became "boyfriend and girlfriend." With the title, came my confession of love and the feeling was mutual.

It didn't take long to know this was the real deal and we each found our "person". Months quickly turned into a year and on April 23, 2023, at our favorite spot in our favorite park, Green Cay, I got down on one knee and popped the question. We still can't confirm whether she actually said the word "yes" but I think we all know what the answer was. So here we are, planning our wedding day and we can't wait for you all to celebrate with us and continue our story!
