Jared and Cassie first met on a dating website back in October of 2020. Jared eventually asked Cassie on a date and from there everything changed. We went to Buffalo Wild Wings and watched the Chicago Bears game. Once Cassie explained how she grew up in Palatine, IL, the same town Jared's mom grew up, there was an instant connection. Since this was still during the pandemic, Jared had some furniture in a warehouse in Pennsylvania from his time spent living there. He needed an extra person to help him and he asked Cassie to go with, only a month after we had started talking! We were both a little hesitant at first, but 22 hours in a car together really brings you close together! During those two days, our connection only grew stronger. From there on our love story began!

On May 7th, 2022, Jared had planned a date night and told Cassie to make sure she dressed up and had her hair and nails done. Our date night was at the Phoenix Desert Botanical Gardens. Little did Cassie know, Jared had hired a photographer to meet us at a specific spot, and once Jared got the signal, he dropped down on a knee and popped the question. Cassie's first response when she turned around and saw Jared on a knee was "I knew it". It was the happiest day of our lives, and we'll never forget how special that experience was.
