When do I need to RSVP by?
We ask that you RSVP by May 1st, 2025
How do I RSVP?
Please visit the RSVP section of our wedding website or mail back the RSVP card from the invitation. We kindly ask for you to RSVP separately for the ceremony and reception so we get an accurate headcount for catering at the reception.
Am I allowed to bring a guest?
Your invitation and RSVP card will indicate how many seats we have reserved in your honor.
Am I allowed to bring my children?
Due to limited numbers, we hope you understand that children are only invited if named on the invitation.
What is the dress code?
Please wear semi-formal attire to both the ceremony and reception. For women, this includes nice church-appropriate dresses or slacks and a blouse. For men, we ask that you wear slacks and a button up. Ties and/or jackets are encouraged, but not required. We request that you do not wear jeans.
Where is the ceremony?
The ceremony will be held at St. Jude Catholic Church in Benton, LA. The address is 4700 Palmetto Rd, Benton, LA 71006.
This is about 20-25 minutes away from our reception venue.
What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
The ceremony will start promptly at 6:30 PM. We ask that you arrive at least 20 minutes early to find your seats before the processional.
Where is the reception?
The reception will be at Silver Lake Ballroom in downtown Shreveport. The address is 900 Market St, Shreveport, LA 71101. This is about 20-25 minutes from the ceremony venue.
Where do I park?
For the ceremony, the church has a large parking lot to accommodate all our guests. For the reception, there is a parking lot across the street from the building. Police will be at the reception venue to direct traffic for parking.
Where should I stay the night?
There are a couple hotels within walking distance from the reception venue. We have a hotel block at the Holiday Inn Express across the street from Silver Lake Ballroom and at the Hilton in downtown Shreveport. There will be a shuttle for the Hilton hotel.
What type of food will be at the reception?
We will have a variety of heavy hors d'oeuvres and entrees served. Due to the late start time of our event, please expect food to be served around 8:30 PM. We encourage our guests to eat beforehand, if needed.
Will there be an open bar?
Yes! We will have an open bar from 8 PM to 11 PM. From 11 PM to 12 AM, it will be a cash bar.
