Tyler and Cassie met in Reno, Nevada in August of 2017. They started off as roommates. The first night of living together, Tyler tried to make a move on Cassie. He walked her to her bedroom door and lingered. Cassie shut it down fast! They quickly turned into best friends. They did everything together from running errands, going on hikes, to driving around and listening to music. There were feelings on both sides that neither one was willing to admit. One day in 2019, it clicked for Cassie. She realized that Tyler was it for her. It took them some time to finally make the jump and start a relationship. They were long distance for 2 1/2 years. They would switch off on weekends traveling to one another. In May of 2023, they got a little apartment in Brentwood and started their lives together. Finally, on December 1, 2023, Tyler took Cassie back to Nevada, where it all started, and proposed. She couldn’t even wait for him to say “Will you marry me?” before she said yes and stuck out her hand.
