We met in 2020 at a friend’s party over Cassie’s winter break. Little did we know some friendly game competition would strike a love story. Over the following weeks, we bonded over Fast & Furious, our values of family, and our easy ability to talk about anything and everything. We began dating January 10th of 2021 with our first date being TJI Fridays and a football Movie. Despite the very strong disagreement of NFL teams (Cassie’s a Ravens fan and Justin a Steelers fan) - we fell in love quickly. We loved the cliche dinner and a movie dates, introducing our friends/making new ones, and taking on new experiences together. We went to many UMD football games, new restaurants/bars, New York City for Christmas, Massenutten, Ocean City, Virginia Beach, Gatlinburg, Tennessee, and later even Italy. 

We got engaged August 6th of 2022 on the water in Queenstown, Md. Justin had planned a weekend away with both sets of friends to distract and then celebrate with us after. A scary phone call from Justin’s dad at friend’s dinner was how Cassie was ultimately fooled away from the proposal of lights and rose petals up the dock. She said Yes! 
Since then we moved into our first place together, became puppy parents to Oaklee, and have happily enjoyed our long engagement. As much as we have loved each chapter of our love story- we cannot wait for the next of saying “I Do” and celebrating our marriage with you- our favorite people :)
