Stefan and Cassie met in July of 2018 while working at TJMaxx, but didn't become close until they ran into each other at Chico State.

Throughout the next year, they became each other's best friends. Finally, one day in August of 2019, Cassie and Stefan were hanging out and another coworker asked Stefan if she could set him up on a date with someone. Cassie asked Stefan what he wanted to say and he responded, "I want to say no because I am already in a relationship with you". And the rest is history :)

Through fires, floods, COVID, and the stresses of undergrad, Cassie and Stefan easily found ways to enjoy their time together in their favorite town of Chico. They went for strolls in Bidwell Park, studied together on the Chico State campus, and had an occasional drink from Madison Bear Garden!

In June of 2021, Stefan and Cassie moved to Sacramento to spend their last year of grad school in a new city together! Although they enjoyed their time there, they soon realized big city living was not for them! In May of 2022, they moved to Davis, CA.

To celebrate surviving grad school, Stefan and Cassie booked a trip to Disney World in Florida. Stefan surprised Cassie with a proposal in the middle of Epcot!! Even being completely blind-sided, it was the easiest decision of her life. Cheers to forever together :)

Stefan and Cassie are currently living in Davis, California with their two cats, Swarley and Moxie; however, they are preparing to move to Colorado Springs this July! (Two weeks after the wedding!)
