The Harvill wedding will be held outdoors. We recommend wearing flat shoes, as thin heels may sink into the grass. The dress code is Dressy Casual: summer dresses (Maxi or Short), Khaki pants, linen button-down shirt, flats, clean sneakers, blouses, skirts, linen capris. It is an outdoor wedding- be comfortable!
What will the weather be like at this time of year?
The Midwest is notorious for rapidly changing weather. The beginning of September will be warm and potentially windy. Please bring a light jacket or cardigan in the event of a chilly wind.
Where will the ceremony and reception take place?
The ceremony and reception will take place at Jeremy and Cassie's home. Both the ceremony and reception will be outdoors.
What happens after the ceremony?
After the ceremony, Jeremy and Cassie will take a few photos, but snacks and the dinner line will be available to guests. We will be providing a taco bar for dinner.
Is there parking near the venue?
Street parking is available for guests around our house and within the neighborhood.
Am I allowed to bring my children?
YES! Children are welcome! Since Jeremy and I do not have children, I would recommend bringing some of your kid's favorite toys for them to play with.
Will there be an open bar?
No. We will have wine available for toasts, but we will not have a bar. You are welcome to bring alcohol, but we will not be providing it.
Where should we bring/ship our gift?
You may ship any gifts to 9811 E 29th St. S. Independence, MO 64052. We are encouraging guests to review our registry for wedding gifts.
What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
The ceremony will begin at 5:30pm. Please arrive 20-30 minutes early to park, find our home, and get prepared for the ceremony.
When will the reception end?
The reception will directly follow the ceremony. The reception will end at 10:00pm.
Am I allowed to take pictures during the ceremony?
We are asking guests to not take photos during the ceremony. We are having an "unplugged" ceremony, We have a professional photographer who will be taking photos.
