I remember first hearing about Jeryl from my bridesmaid, Katie. At the end of our senior year of high school, her and Logan, decided to set us up. He was definitely shy at first... but a couple of weeks later, we met at his friend's bonfire and started to get to know each other. However, we decided to go our separate ways soon after.

As I met and got to know my roommate, Corynn, I told her about this guy that I wish would've worked out. Honestly, I never thought that I would get to the chance to date him. Luckily for me, Jeryl reached out again that fall. On November 17, we went to a Tim Hawkins show for our first official date. We spent the next couple of months getting to know each other more and more. I quickly learned how amazing and different he was.

Summer came around, and we finally got to spend more time together. Jeryl served me in so many ways, and I knew I couldn't let this guy go. Fast forward to the beginning of 2019. We both knew that we wanted to get married and spend the rest of our lives together. Soon after this discussion, I found out that I would be graduating in the Spring of 2020.

From there, God seemed to lay everything into place. June 16 rolled around and Jeryl proposed. As the summer winded down, I received a job offer that I was thrilled to accept. About two months later, we found the perfect home. I cannot even begin to explain how grateful I am for God's goodness this year. I am looking forward to our next chapter, and I am so excited to spend it with someone as intentional and loving as Jeryl.
