Cassi and Cass met back in August 2012 at a job fair at Pitt Community College for the Dairy Queen that was opening across the street. Neither of them knew that that was the beginning of an amazing future together. Cassi loves to tell people how Cass was the only person to bring her own pen and an awesome name to a job fair. It is a simple story that may not seem like much to the outsider, but it has become a beautiful story to them.

At the time, Cassi was a manager for that DQ and was actually the one to decide Cass should return for the orientation. Once the two realized they shared the same name, it was like a rolling snowball from there. They began creating a foundation of friendship, still completely unaware of what the future held for them. Cass and Cassi quickly became inseparable.

They talked and joked at work. They stayed on the phone until the sun came up talking about what they pictured in their futures. They talked about their past, their families, their goals, their relationships, their faith, everything. They spent more time than anyone would bother to count together and over time Cass and Cassi became best friends.

The two fit so well together. Their personalities were so imperfectly perfect and balanced one another. Where one was weak, the other was strong. Without even trying, Cass and Cassi fell into something that some still struggle to find- they fell into unconditional love. The kind of love that instead of getting butterflies every time, makes you feel at home. The kind of love that is like a comfortable shoe.

They worked hard in the beginning, learning to compromise, to trust, to grow, and to love - really love. They found their rhythm, their dance, and their song. Cassi and Cassie have experienced thousands of 'ups' that encouraged their relationship and two handfuls of 'downs' over the years that never once broke their bond. They are still experiencing the pleasure of learning each other and growing together and that is beautiful.

So on Sunday, September 24, 2017 after spending the last five years of their lives building this wonderful life, Cassie and Cassi are coming together before God and their families to marry and begin a whole new adventure as one.
