Pickle lovers, get ready: the 2026 North Carolina Pickle Festival gets underway on Saturday, April 25 from 9 am to 6 pm in Downtown Mount Olive. Every year, Mount Olive the community and Mt. Olive the company come together to celebrate a mutually dill-lightful relationship. Pickles may be the theme, but community is what the festival is all about.

Old Waynesborough Park is open 7 days a week and is free to the public. We have over 4 miles of walking trails bordered by both the Neuse and Little River. Dozens of bird species can be spotted along the trails, as well as deer, reptiles, and amphibians. Fishing is permitted in several locations along the Neuse.
