In June of 2018, Cat took a job with John Deere and moved from New England to Davenport, Iowa. She knew no-one in the area and questioned whether she'd made a huge mistake. Little did she know that in less than a month, she would meet the future love of her life!

Cat and Connor met through John Deere coworkers in June of 2018 at an infamous daiquiri bar in downtown Rock Island, Illinois. After a few times of Connor Ubering (to avoid showing his car) to dates, they both knew this was something special.

At the start of the pandemic, the couple both took new jobs with John Deere. They decided to take the plunge and move in together in Waterloo, Iowa. After two years, the couple again had an opportunity to move with John Deere to Urbandale, Iowa, where they bought their first home. During this time, Connor proposed to Cat in October of 2022 in Vermont.

In 2023, Cat was offered a new position in Chicago. Today they live in the East Village neighborhood of Chicago and are loving city life!
