We first met the summer going into our senior year at Roger Williams University at a 4th of July party. We quickly realized we were from neighboring towns back in CT and the connections did not stop there. Jesse's dad and Cat's uncle were childhood best friends, our aunts worked at the same salon together for over a decade, and Cat's older sister's first job was working at Jesse's Uncle's restaurant!

At RWU, we spent our senior year dating. We lived in houses on the same street and Jesse even had a week-long stint living at Cat's house when his house got condemned (good times).

Once we graduated, we both moved back to CT. Jesse pursued his master's at the University of New Haven and Cat started working at New Haven Superior Court. We both share a love of traveling and hiking, so during this time, we took many weekend trips to Vermont and New Hampshire to hike and even backpacked Europe for 3 weeks.

After Jesse got his master's, Cat decided to go to law school at New England Law in Boston. We packed up and moved into our first apartment together. After about a year, we realized the apartment was feeling a little empty, so we adopted our first cat Olive. Realizing it still was not quite full, a month later we adopted our second cat, Remmy. We officially were cat parents of two. Anyone that knows us can attest these cats get more attention than most human babies.

For Cat's birthday, November 7, 2020, Jesse planned a weekend getaway to the Berkshires to hike Mount Greylock with Jesse's cousin Mike and his cousin's girlfriend Erin. Thinking it was just one of our many hiking adventures, Cat was completely surprised when we reached the summit and Jesse was down on one knee with a ring. Cat said yes and everyone on the summit of the mountain broke out in applause and cheers. We had to hike the 4 hours back down the mountain before we could FaceTime and call all our family and friends to show them the ring and let them know we would be spending the rest of our lives together.

We are both so excited to celebrate with all our family and friends on September 10, 2022! <3
