Our Wedding

Interstate travel and a pandemic couldn't even keep us apart! For those of you who don't know, we entered each other's lives nearly 12 years ago as freshmen at University of Miami. We had a series of unforgettable adventures together in our youth, but alas parted ways, hoping the universe would bring us back together again in this lifetime. And it did! Wow. To get to explore and conquer life with each other during some pivotal transitions has never been more exciting, and the past 3 years have been nothing short of a confirmation that we are ready for this next chapter. Now, come celebrate with us on January 20th (our actual anniversary!) at a concert-wedding right here in Music City! Love,Chris + Cat

As a result of alphabetical seating in 6th grade (Sornmayura + formerly Spampinato), this duo met in math class and bonded over all their similarities ever since. This includes having ridiculously long last names, having big curly hair, and mooning over how cute Nick Jonas is.

Originally work friends at the renowned Moon Thai restaurant, these two have had ridiculously similar work lives, having worked together at Moon Thai, SLS hotels, and Hyatt hotels at the same time. Taryn and Cat can often be spotted playing with cats, crafting at odd hours, and poorly making sushi.

Cat and Geraldine were often caught snickering in class and complaining about running in marching band throughout pretty much all of high school. Often mistaken as sisters, people always seem to be confused when only one of us knows how to speak Spanish and the other doesn't.

Cat's first-ever roommate, Eva and Cat met during junior year of college at the University of Miami, bonding over ridiculously themed parties and Beyonce dance moves they could never perfect.

Here are some fun things to do while you're in Nashville!

DOWNTOWN- Broadway Honky Tonks - this is whole night of Nashville wildness! Chris recommends ACME, Roberts Western World, and any of the newer country star named bars (Casa Rosa by Miranda Lambert, FGL House, etc.)- Check out Eddie V's! Chris plays here ALL the time. A nice evening of seafood and easy listening music.- Love a fun bar-cade at HQ - free games and fun drinks with a retro vibe.- Hungry? Visit Assembly Food Hall for a food court of local spots!- Check out various rooftop bars like the Bobby Hotel, Grand Hyatt, The Graduate Rooftop (White Limozeen) and more!- Head to Printer's Alley and listen to some fun jazz at this classic spot, Skull's Rainbow Room, or great blues music at Bourbon Street Blues and Boogie.- Want a calm daytime activity? Check out the Country Music Hall of Fame or the National Museum of African American Music. GULCH- Love a good brunch? Milk and Honey is a great place to go, but be warned, you might be waiting a while if you arrive any later than 10am!- If Milk and Honey is too busy, head down the street to one of Cat's favorite brunch spots, The Mockingbird.- Rudy's Jazz Room is the only true jazz venue in town. Live music every night featuring local and nationally touring artists, and they have great gumbo!- If you know Chris and Cat, you know that ramen is one of their favorite meals. Otaku Ramen is one of the best spots in town for ramen dishes.- Pins Mechanical: whether it's life sized jenga, classic pinball machines, or duckpin bowling, this is a fun "old school" entertainment kind of place!- Chauhan Ale and Masala House: during Cat's Grand Hyatt days, she would often order a Short Rib Naan for lunch. And by often I mean every other day. EAST NASHVILLE- Attaboy: This is Chris and Cat's favorite cocktail bar in town. No menu, just tell the bartender what you like and their mixologist will do the rest. May be a bit of a wait, so arrive early or be prepared.- Whenever Chris and Cat would need to wait for Attaboy, they usually would go to Hawkers Asian Street Food for dinner. Not quite like the night markets in Chiang Mai, but good food and good vibes.- Edley's BBQ: One of Nashville's staple BBQ places.- Hunters Station: A smaller food hall with local chain restaurants. Vui's Kitchen is a favorite for both Chris and Cat.- Five Points is the popular place to be in East Nashville. There are lots of great food and drink options here, as well as some cool shops to check out. Definitely be sure to grab a slice of Five Points Pizza while you're walking around. WEDGEWOOD/HOUSTON (Near Wedding Venue)- Grab coffee and small bites at Americano Lounge (and hang around for live music on weekends).- Dance the night away at Flamingo Cocktail Club.- Lots of great places to grab a drink after the wedding, including Never Never, Bastion, Jackalope Brewing, and New Heights Brewing.- The BEST brunch spot in town is at Sinema - be sure to say hi to our friend and amazing GM, Brett Nelson! It is a bottomless brunch so bring your appetites.
