One of Cat and Tristan's favorite national parks and one of the main reasons why we chose to host our wedding in the area. There are plenty of stunning mountain views and hiking trails for all skill levels.

We're so lucky to be able to host our wedding in the famous hotel that inspired Steven King's The Shining. We've taken a tour or two ourselves and have fallen in love with the Stanley's beauty and history. There are multiple different tours for different interests, from historical to more paranormal.
From the many trips we've taken to Estes, Snowy Peaks has been a favorite. If you're a wine lover, definitely check it out.
P.S. Don't come during the winter and let your coat catch fire from a propane heater like Tristan did.
Tristan and Cat stumbled upon this gem while touring venues and went three times in a single trip. Loved it for its beer but mostly because dogs are allowed inside. You might just see the happy couple (with Betty and Billie, of course) hanging out here in the days leading up to the wedding.
There's a ton to do on the Elkhorn Ave, from restaurants to souvenir shops to saltwater taffy to an old movie theatre. There's something for everyone, and you're sure to feel the mountain town charm!
Great spot for coffee with a really cool outdoor space that's home to at least a bazillion ducks.
