Our Wedding

Our story started years ago at Redeemer School, where Zach had a hallway crush on Cat. She was a few grades ahead, so she didn’t know him yet. But she did know his fun and sweet sister, Becca! Their moms, Mrs. Dickson and Mrs. Whitley, worked together at the school, knew each other, and had many similarities! Fast forward to a Sunday morning years later at the Reynolda King campus, the Whitleys were visiting and the both families connected and chatted after church. That was the first time Cat and Zach officially met. Cat was crushing instantly because of Zach's easygoing conversation and crazy long eyelashes (plus, he was planning to attend Appalachian State University — where Cat also was attending). The timing was just not right, yet. Over the years, they ran into each other at different events, one of the most memorable being the King Rodeo in June of 2024. Cat waved to Zach in the stands, and he came over to chat. She thought he was still as handsome as ever (and maybe those eyelashes were even longer?!) while he had always assumed she wouldn’t be interested in someone a little younger. Little did they know, their families had been talking about them for years, especially their moms. Then one day, Mrs. Whitley called Mrs. Dickson, and they were both so excited, they were going to do cartwheels in the yard and get down on their knees to pray!! Not long after, Zach picked up the phone, called Cat, and planned their first date. Now they're planning a wedding!!
